For di occasion, di Chancellor of COOPA, Mr. Utitofon Morgan, talk say di group don make plenty progress since he take office for October 2023. He praise di members wey dey work hard to grow dia online presence and influence for di state.

 

Morgan highlight di achievements wey COOPA don record for di past 14 months. Dis include hosting capacity training for members, better partnership with di state government, private companies, and improved welfare for di members as well.

 

Di Conference also review plenty events wey go happen in 2025, including di 10th anniversary celebration of COOPA. As a result, dem create Central Planning Committee led by Mr. Darlington Udobong from Ibom Telegraph to plan di event.

 

For dia individual remarks, di online publishers agree to work together with professionalism to build a solid foundation for online journalism for Akwa Ibom State.

Di Special Assistant to di Governor on New/Digital Media, Mr. Kufre Ekpoh, wey show for di meeting, encourage di online publishers to continue their development efforts. Ekpoh appreciate COOPA’s support for Governor Umo Eno and promise to assist with training for di members to sharpen dia reporting skills in di digital space.
