Ibeno Local Government Chairmanship Hopeful Vows to Run Selfless Service
As the race for the chairmanship position of Ibeno Local Government Area gathers steam, a leading aspirant for the chairmanship position under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party-PDP, Mr. Kingsley Asuquo , says he heeded the clarion call from his people to contest in order to render selfless service.
Asuquo, a former youth president in the local government, said having been favoured by the existing zoning arrangement and also exposed to the needs of his people at the grassroots, he was at a vantage point to deliver if elected.
Speaking recently during an interaction with a cross-section of members of Eket Federal Constituency Media Professionals, the aspirant explained that he is running on the plank of “building bridges, fostering peace and creating wealth for his people.”
The successful businessman cum politician said his scorecard during his time as the youth leader signposts his capacity for all to see.
On the administration of Pastor Umo Eno, Comrade Kinsley Asuquo scored the Governor high on his performance in office in just one year and promised to partner him in implementing the ARISE Agenda in Ibeno local government area if elected into office as chairman.
While commending the State government under the leadership of Pastor Umo Eno for his people-centric approach to governance, Asuquo added that Ibeno local government area has benefited a lot under one year.
