In a fervent speech at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, former President Donald Trump vowed to put an end to ongoing international crises and restore the United States’ global standing if elected for a second term. Claiming he could “stop wars with a telephone call,” Trump painted a grim picture of the world under President Joe Biden’s leadership, suggesting the planet is “teetering on the edge of World War Three.”
Trump attributed various global conflicts directly to Biden’s administration, although many of these issues predate Biden’s presidency. Despite this, Trump assured his audience that he would resolve these crises and bring Americans held abroad back home — or face consequences.
