Akwa Ibom Government Sets Precautionary Measures on Cholera Outbreak@
The Akwa Ibom Government says it has initiated precautionary measures to prevent the outbreak of cholera in the state.
The state Commissioner for Health, Professor Augustine Umoh, disclosed this in an interview with newsmen in Uyo today.
Professor Umoh says the state government has commenced sensitisation of residents in all thirty-one local government areas of the state on the need to maintain personal and environmental hygiene.
He explained that the state government has stocked primary health centres in the state with adequate drugs in case of an outbreak of cholera.
