Governor Umo Eno’s Act of Kindness: A New Home for Generous Elderly Couples…
In a heartwarming gesture, Governor Umo Eno has touched the lives of Elder Sampson Udo and wife, Regina, by approving a new residential building for them.
The couple, living in Ikot Nkan village, Onna local government area, were initially known for their generosity towards a neighbor, Stella George, whose husband had passed away. Elder Udo and wife donated land for a new home for Stella, built by the Governor.
Inspired by their act of kindness, Governor Umo Eno sent his aide, Dr. Essien Ndueso, to share the good news that the couple would also receive a new home, donated by the Governor.
Dr. Ndueso noted that the couple’s act of love and generosity was commendable, as it allowed the Government’s development plan to move forward smoothly. He urged people to emulate the couple’s ARISE spirit in daily dealings, assuring that the Governor is setting an example for Akwa Ibom people to love and tolerate one another, promoting development.
The joy of Elder Sampson Udo and wife, Regina, was uncontainable, as they thanked Governor Umo Eno for his generous gesture. Elder Udo expressed happiness that his Governor had responded to their plight and extended love to them, as they had done for their neighbor, Stella.
For Stella George, she was relieved and grateful that her elderly neighbors’ prayers had been answered, with a new home to shelter them, a gift from the Governor.
